The St. George Residence is a Nursing home, entered in the Register of Social Services Providers of the Social Work Agency by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.

  The residence is located in the village of Vakarel, municipality of Ihtiman, at a distance of about 25km (15 minutes by car) from the city of Sofia, which offers a magnificent panorama, including captivating and relaxing views of the Vitosha, Sredna Gora, and Rila mountains.

The home was built with the assistance and funding of Postbank, legally named Eurobank Bulgaria AD.
The building is four-storey, newly constructed and luxuriously equipped, pursuant to the most modern European requirements. It has an elevator and a wonderful panorama. All floor coverings at the St. George Residence are antibacterial.

Luxurious and elegantly designed single rooms, standard double rooms, deluxe double rooms and suites are available. All rooms and suites are south facing, spacious, comfortable and with balconies.

St. George Nursing home has a large park for walking and relaxing in the fresh air. The garden area is 5 acres, including natural landscaped areas, a fountain, walkways, benches, and the St. George Chapel.
The St. George Residence is heated by local heating and has automatic emergency lighting.
